Yeah, that's his standard retort to most posts. |

Turns out he wasn’t a missionary, he appears to have been someone with a ‘sense of adventure’ ...and no respect at all for the people he was visiting.
All contact with the tribe has been banned by law as they have lived in isolation for 60,000 years. Any (benign in the western world) infection could wipe them all out so maybe they were protecting all their loved ones |

That was his 3rd attempt to get to them. He'd been attacked on the previous 2 times and it was only going to end in his death. That's just being a twat no having a sense of adventure |

A selfish one, at that.
I actually have no sympathy for him and, although I’m not religious, I object to his reasoning being associated with ‘being a missionary’. That’s lazy and irresponsible journalism. |

They already had some of their tribe pretty taken by government officials in the late 1800's. The adults died and the children were sent back but with a disease that wiped out many. I guess that story would have been handed down through the generations and promoted a no-tolerance attitude towards the outside world |

People who do stuff like this have a death wish. These are the same ones who end up being mauled whilst trying to take a selfie with a wild animal or locked up for life for going to the UAE and questioning them on security. Darwinian theory at work. |

Aye well he should’ve taken the 1st warning and not returned that’s what he gets for trying to force his beliefs on to others. It’s awful kind of his parents to “forgive” the islanders I wonder what their views would’ve been if their son spread a disease that killed the islanders |
