Not quite my disaster, but it was in my house. Me old dad was fixing some loose floorboards in a house we were moving into, and put a screw through a central heating pipe. The first we knew was when the kitchen ceiling, and a few gallons of water landed on the ex's head. I might have needed a new ceiling, but the memory of her soaked and covered in soggy plaster has brightened my life for years.  |
