While chatting with a few people and seeing some threads around the forum made me wonder. Have you/would you give someone a second chance on here or is it one strike and you're out? Are you long on memory and short on forgiveness or is life to short to hold grudges? |

Every one who I've maybe fallen out with or not been on the same page with(providing it's not been a major event) .I've always eventually dipped back in and said hello ...life too short in my opinion  |

I agree with Jacs, try and give people the benefit of the doubt, even if they have to cancel planned meets, as life can get in the way of social plans etc.
I would agree though that if I was given a BS excuse then I would prefer an honest response and probably wouldn't make attempts to meet again. Wouldn't hold a grudge, just wouldn't feel comfortable knowing they were making excuses initially. |

If your talking about the forums mainly then in my opinion i take most rhings with a pinch of salt, i got told by a couple never speak to me again as they did not like my opinion on something , nothing bad just a random thread, i found that very strange. I dont mind if people are that shallow or do or dont give ne a second chance, i wont lose sleep over it. I do appreciate the honesty at maybe a social where ive met people that say things like , ahh your _e devil, your a fanny in the forums lol. But then move on and chat like normal adults instead of sulking about something that was said last year or further. Wtf is that all about. Lol  |

I think it depends on what they've done really. Life is too short. I don't fall out with people easy though so you would have had to have done some thing major for me to not to want to talk to you ever again. |

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
I’ve given people second and third chances at times. People I’ve trusted have let me down, not accepted decisions I’ve made, lied to me and treated me badly. Not just on Fab but in all walks of life!
Giving someone a second chance rarely works out but it’s nice when it does.
Life’s too short as I keep getting told to hold grudges but equally my life is better without the hassle and aggro that some people bring. |

I have given folk second or third chances and I almost always regret doing so as I find leopards don’t change their spots
I don’t like being taken advantage of I’m nice until someone tries to play me or lie then they have to do an awful lot to get back in my good books

If its in regards to a meet and then ends up in a cancellation then I'm kl about that and second chance would prob happen as our private life's are more important so its understandable if something comes up. Obviously if there is no contact etc.. it would be harder to allow a second chance.
On here, there's a certain few I have no intention of giving a second chance but that's cause they have carried it on over a while.
On the forums I do realise when you post, sometimes its not conveyed the way its intended and people might take it the wrong way or you might read someone's else's post and think it means something different, so its always best that way to give second chances.
The chat rooms are usually Ok, you get a lot of nice folk in the scots room who are just out for a good chat and laugh usually some egit comes in and makes disgusting remarks to someone or just tries to spoil it but most realise just block and avoid.
The socials are great and no matter what, everyone is out just to have a chat, banter and laughs and get to know likeminded people and to be honest I've never seen any bad socials where people fall out unless there to many of us up at the buffet at the same time  |

Depends on the crime
Coming to a social, getting "the fear" and driving away again and deleting your profile and whatsapp in a panic... Forgivable.
Contacting again, arranging a second meet after apologising and explaining your attack of nerves got the better of you then ghosting again? Hmmmm.
Less forgivable.
