It’s a thought provoking question OP but I’d say very difficult to answer based on the fact there’s so many different dynamics and subcategories of sub/dom relationships anywhere from a casual sub to the full blown slave all different in every way.
Submissive's are very rarely passive passengers in any D/s dynamic. That smacks of exploitation. A healthy dom/sub relationship is an equal and respectful one. Any time that you hear a Dom describe a partner as a “bad sub,” it’s probably because that sub resisted the dom’s abuse of power, not because of any intrinsic negative qualities on the submissive’s account.
There is no such thing as a good sub. But there is such a thing as a bad Dom. |

A few good points there. I'd also add a good sub knows what they want/need and communicates that well with their Dom.
Just my thoughts on it anyway. |

This is an interesting question. One hard to reply to as it is fairly an individual thing.
What makes a good sub?
'the Dominant' in the sense that he/she has to be able to 'bring out' what he/she wants from the submissive, read his/her sub.
Also being able to choose the right person that best suits his/her needs and make that person his/her sub.
Also the chemistry between the two.
What makes a good sub?
'the submissive' in the sense that he/she has to be able to 'bring out' what he/she wants from the Dominant, being able to challenge his/her Dominant.
And let's not forget that it is a 2-way situation where both the Dominant and the submissive are getting what they are looking for from the relationship.
Hope I make sense, and put this across ok |
