When I was a kid I put absolutely no effort into my costumes. 3 years in a row I went out as a boxer as it only required a dressing gown and boxing gloves. My sister was the opposite, she'd be planning her costume weeks in advance. So were you a planner or did you wing it like me?

My brothers all boxed, they all went as boxers one year I was the week before, usually a cheerleader or a cat. My sister planned from September with drawings and dress rehersels

More importantly, are the ladies of fab going to post pictures of themselves dressed up as cats/witches/any other sexy creatures?

I don't need to dress up to be a witch

I'm fairly lazy/predictable in that I'll prob just always find a way to accessorize a plain black dress

Witch - add green paint & pointy hat

French maid - add white pinny & feather duster

Sugar skull - add face paint & flower headdress

Etc etc!

I like to make some effort to mines, for example at weekend we went to Dundee social I bought and altered a dress stitching on netting and webbing to make it look like mortishas and today I’m the hulk for work which includes having painted my whole self green and altering clothes, but then I love Halloween x

Zero effort as a kid. Was a cat for many years.

Usually know what I'm doing 2 weeks before Halloween. Prefer making a costume rather than buying one all in but have gotten fairly half hearted in recent years.

By far the most effort I ever put into a costume was Duffman from The Simpsons. Even had a belt made from beer cans lol.

I went out as a ghostbusters this year. I made the costume which was almost identical to the real one. If a jobs worth doing it's worth doing right LOL
