Why dont we the people of Fab Scotland make an early resolution from the bard himself.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought tae mind.
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet.
And there's a hand, my trusty fere!
For auld lang syne.

It may highlight the people that are not prepared to leave the past where it belongs and rather move on . Of course people will have disputes in the future , its normal but when they cant let go the past thats different.  |

I dont make new year resolutions, if im going to make a change, I just get with it immediately.
