So if your an incomer to the town of Kilmarnock & your kids go trick or treating on the 31st they will be told we've already had it
A lot of you will already know in Kilmarnock we celebrate Halloween on the last Friday of October.
For those wondering why????
It is an old tradition & is held on this day due to workers being paid on a Friday which meant they could afford sweets for the children trick or treating.
This might be confusing as a kid but makes sense as an adult (to me anyway), no need to rush round doors to be home because you have school the following day. |
