I'm like that with my wee grandson, he's only three and loves to cuddle still... his whole little being lights up as he runs to embrace me ... gets me all gooey inside xxxxx |

No matter how shite a day i had, my lovely collie dog used to welcome me home, could'nt walk straight for wagging tail seeing dad walking in the door, unconditional love, no opinions, no pre conceived daft ideas about me he just loved me on sight cause i was "dad", and soon as said geez a cuddle he would get up look at me and luv a hug.
He held on till dad got home the day he died, his last ounce of strength was used to get up and make me pat him, i thought it was the usual ask for a bit affection, but it was him saying goodbye dad, wish i knew, i'd of hugged him so much more,, |

Laine hun can I have a hug and some of that chocolate??
Please please with cherries on top well no cherries cos I ate them all and still I feel no better . . . 
Am all sore and sad and the kids are in bed so no hugs for me cos himself would rather watch Angelina Jolie on tv than hug his wife - mind you after threatening to bury him under the shed if he offered me another hot water bottle I dont blame him

for me its her wee hands, if i ask for a cuddle she does this sort of grabbing motion with her hands, arms strached out. shes done it since she was about 8 months, if it was upto me shel still be doing it when shes 10 lol |

Gordie those hands will still reach out with that grabbing motion for a long time yet..... make sure you hide your wallet and only keep a couple quid in it! cos she will check it you know it |

He is helping more today . . . he is away shopping for me!!
I expect him to return with loads of chocolate telling me it is really meant fot the kids when he is going to eat it all himself!! 
And he strapped up my ankle for me given me loads of pillows and cushions to rest my ankle on, fresh coffee, painkillers and the phone all within my reach.
He really is a sweetie.

Its true the only time we see our 11 year old is when she wants fed or wants money!!!
And she is teaching the 6 year old to ask what things are worth to us before doing them . . . .I mean really why do I have to pay her to tidy her bedroom??

hey wanna send him over to me? I had a broken tooth and got the root extracted yesterday, overnight my jaw has swollen and I feel like a horse has kicked me... I could do with someone to shop for me and pamper me too! |

Hun I always share . . . you can borrow him whenever you want.
He is all housetrained!!
He shops, cooks, cleans, calms the kids, and runs around after me all day.
And he even gives over the tv remote when Im not perving on here!!
Never had a tooth out but I can only imagine how sore you are hun.
Sending loads of huns for you and a straw to drink the rum laced hot chocolate!!!

Sorry to hear your having tooth trouble Laine,had a tooth abscess last year,very painful,got only relief from tramadol painkillers.Sending you lots of hugs for a speedy recovery as we all need a hug sometime not just when we are poorly.Hugs to everyone who makes me feel welcome in chatroom.xxx |
