This may generate a few giggles,
Late 70s I was 16 ,( nae sniggers ) got kitted out with a lime green pair of 4 button high waister flares that covered the 4” platforms completely ? On way to the school Easter disco we decided to fun as it started raining, right foot caught in left flare , tumbled arse over tits , tore the trousers to bits , throat hit a little wall , dislocated two pinkies and burst ma lips!!! Never wore flares and platforms again |

I actually look back at pics of my parents in the 70s and am amazed that I was conceived. Every fucker looked so ugly....surprised there was any shagging |
