Anyone help with a choice of hotel for weekend 27 October 18
We are down in Cumbria for the day but wouldnt mind adding an overnighter in Carlisle of Dumfries area - anyone there next weekend or got suggestions where to stay over.

Dumfries has a couple nice hotels. The Station Hotel and The Cairndale are two that stand out. There are a couple others that are reportedly quite nice. And then you have your factory standard Premier Inn but that's quite far out of the town centre,the others are very centred. |

The crown hotel in Wetheral is nice, has sauna pool etc and great food, just off J43 at Carlisle |
