That’s clever
That’s where I’m headed tomorrow. I’m useless with this sort of thing. Maybe I should have arranged to take a female friend with me lol. |

I feel your pain. I hate choosing frames. I always have an evening appointment and the assistant starts off dead enthusiastic but by the end they're usually looking at their watch and saying, "yeah, they look great, like the last ones, any of those would be lovely. Hmmm, no I Really like those, yip, really, really suit you (please leave the shop now, I wanna go home!) And I end up just settling. I often wonder what my specs would look like if I actually had all the time in the world to pic them. |

I've been wearing glasses since I was eight, so I know what works with the mangled wreck that is my face, and can pick frames easily. You'll get an idea once you try a few pairs, and see what works with the size and shape of your face.
Just stay away from the Disney Princess frames, mind. |

Oi don’t mock the NHS frames I had them when I was a kid.
I’d love to have glasses now because I’ve been told I really suit them, damn my perfect eyesight |

"Wear specs to make me look more intelligent "
I think a woman in glasses has that sofisticated intelligent look about her.
Does it for me
Glasses for me everytime rather than contacts, mind you I'm not the one having to wearing them |

You can send that to people on FPF, as long as it's still within the rules. |

"Well, glasses ordered - for reading only. And some prescription sunglasses too as they were free. "
I got my first pair of proper prescription sunglasses recently ( instead of tinted glasses) I was so excited as my eyesight is that bad that it’s only recently with whatever technology that they’ve been able to do my prescription

I failed miserably with the contact lenses trial. Eyes were streaming constantly.
It was kind of like the reverse of childbirth with the wee Specsavers lassie giving me words of encouragement..

I've been wearing glasses for the last 20yrs. Tried contact lens for the first time this year. Failed the trial so many times, but finally got it.
It feels like I'm walking about nude without my glasses |

I started wearing contact lenses from a young age. There easy once you get used to them. The chuck away 24hour ones are much more comfortable. I do wear them though cause I'm blind as a bat and I find glasses annoying for the gym etc. Though I do take my contact lenses out and usually wear my glasses if I'm just about the house. |

I’ve been wearing contact lenses for years now as I used to do a lot of scuba diving and I can’t dive with glasses on
Stopped diving last year for health reasons and have never bothered renewing my lens subscription
I don’t like glasses as they restrict me at soft play with the weans or in any other contact sport I still do.

I fancy this Optegra thing, but only because I fancy the blonde wifey in the advert. |
