Sexuality is a multi-dimensional, complex mix of physiological, interpersonal, cultural, emotional, and psychological factors. It's important for us to reflect on all these aspects of ourselves and the role they play, as the relationship we have with our sexuality reflects our sexual self-esteem & experience.
So neither in my opinion. |

I think it depends on how you interpret "confidence".
A quiet, self-assured manner and awareness of your own worth.
Or someone loud and brash who looks like the life and soul of the party.

"It's not the confidence that's the turn on it's the lady ..just because she's confident doesnt necessarily make the trousers twitch "
If the lady's appearance makes the trousers twitch, it helps if she is confident. It makes me feel more at ease about "making a move", than if she was a wallflower. |

Yip to "A quiet, self-assured manner and awareness of your own worth." . Doesn't even need to say a word and the confidence can still shine through. |

Good point. Empty vessels definitely make most noise.
I think significant lack of confidence is a turn off more than confidence being a turn on.
But we're all adults, no one should be intimidated by anyone else and anyone who thinks they are "confident"'enough to intimidate a member of the opposite sex is merely daft or picking on vulnerable individuals.

A complex questi9n with many factors to take into account, most of which have been touch upon above.
So I'm just going to go with the simple, confidence is attractive in a women, I also find assertiveness attractive.
But I know some guys who find that hard to deal with. So as always each to their own. |

"Do men find a confident woman intimidating or a turn on?."
In my experience Op as a confident woman and i perceive myself very sexually confident, guys may find me intimidating and have said so.
But i know they are not for me... thats their lack of confidence. Why socials are important for me.
My perception is that confidence is critical to taking your sexuality to new levels! You must know yourself and know what you want to have true sexual confidence.....inner and outer sexual confidence will likely make your entire life more satisfying.
Its fun all the same, in finding out.. x

Confidence can be sexy, but it wouldn't intimidate me.
Like has already been said, meeting someone who isnt confident is a turn off. I dont want to be reassuring someone all the time. |

Confidence especially in ones sexuality is a big turn on for me
I abhor arrogance in anyone as there is no call for it
When in Dom mode I find working with less confident women more appealing though. |

Definitly a turn on,a lady who isnt shy in letting you know what she wants and getting it is fantastic. Arrogance isnt a turn on though. Having said that ive known some who were the total opposite and required a bit of coaxing/handholding but they later turned out to be real dynamos once they were less inhibited |

Just a background character |
"Am I the only one that finds a wee bit of vulnerability quite appealing too? When the walls come down and you actually see what someone is all about..."
That sounds to me more like what happens in a romantic relationship, when you open up emotionally to someone and them to you. You leave yourself vulnerable.
I'd leave that at the door when it comes to meeting someone on fab. |

I love the intimacy of seeing someone play with abandon and without inhibition, but prefer that to come from a place of confidence where we are relaxed and comfortable with each other’s sexuality. |

I’m glad the ladies have found their self confidence.
I’ve known a few ladies on fab over the years who’ve had very low self esteem too. Over time they’ve managed to change their mindset and realise they are wonderful people who shouldn’t be ashamed of who they are or what they want in life or how they look.
DISCLAIMER - the next bit is an extremely clumsy way of trying to explain myself. Apologies if it makes no sense
I see shyness as a challenge to me - it challenges me to get them to be more open and honest about what THEY want. Once that happens, confidence and self esteem can be grown but only with their trust.

I was always told that it was a turn on but then in reality I’ve found it to be intimidating especially because of my profession as well, I can’t help that I love my career and I’m proud of my achievements but have been told it’s offputting and can make some men feel inadequate |

I like confidence, strange thing for a guy to say to you, as I've chatted with you quite a bit and I find you easy to chat with, you can chat about anything, including sex quite normally, I'm thinking that's what scares him, possibly because he can't openly chat about sex!! |

"Do men find a confident woman intimidating or a turn on?."
In my personal opinion it depends on the context and how the woman carries herself along with their personality and etiquette. Sexually I find it to be a turn on in the bedroom knowing that a woman is confident and happy in her own body as it gives off good energy and positive vibes. From a social/public point of view I also like to see a strong confident woman but if they were cocky, overly egotistical or came across as selfish it would completely change my game. |
