So that time has came again about leaving here. Was good to start with but recent things have made me change my mind about this place again. So when Is It time to leave fab and not return?
For me when the negatives outweigh the positives on here now.

If you're going to leave just leave, why put up a send me lots of don't go msgs, the sites shit compared to years ago, everyone knows that, and if you don't have the patience to wait for something exciting to happen, just delete profile and go, no one will miss you or me for that matter if we just disappeared |

I have left before and came back. Lost my contacts from before and I miss them actually. I just like the banter on here which makes me stay and to see if a nice social comes up nearby to go to. If you have fixed expectations you are going to be disappointed no matter what website you use or what you do in life. If you feel like fabs isn't adding anything to your life and you don't like it when you log in or do something on it. Then go. If it still does things for you then stay but lower your expectations. |

what are the negatives that make you feel this way ? Cant they be turned into positives?
As a few have said take a timeout and hide your profile then you can always come back to it when the clouds blow over .

I took a two year break from this lifestyle and regretted deleting my profile (not this site) as I lost touch with some lovely people that I'd got to know.
If you are not enjoying the site at the moment take a hiatus and place your profile into private mode. You never know you might feel differently in a few weeks, months or years and rather than having to start from scratch you can just come back.
If you decide to just take a break rather than deleting your profile it might be a good idea to let your friends that might not use the forums know that you are taking a break from the site to give yourself some breathing space. Most people will understand as they themselves may have taken a holiday from the site at some point.
Good luck with whatever decision you make OP. x x |

To be honest both of you are right in a way. Whenever we add a post and the way of its meaning, intention its not viewed, conveyed the same way by everyone. I suppose if its the person who adds to the thread and what they are like with others posts and it gives you and idea of him and hers views etc...
What I will say if the OP is genuine and really asking for advice which I believe he is then I think it would have been better to post in the 'Swinging Support and Advice forum section'. He would have got a wider spectrum of views and hopefully advice and obviously some giggles n windups which on this forums in general and a lot others is just normal.
Anyways when I leave, I will announce it 16 days and 3 hours before hand and will look upon all your replies at my leaving with baited breath. I'm sure they will all be positive
