Hey folks, just be on the lookout for phishing emails, had several emails from Halifax, HSBC in the last few days saying that my bank account will be deactivated in the next 24hrs due to suspicious activity and to click on a link.
All well and good but I have no accounts with either so just be on your guard ! |

1. No bank will ever e mail you regarding unauthorized account access.
Tip: put the mouse pointer on the link and look at the bottom left of your email.. this should show you the destination of the link.
2. No rich widow will really want to ship $8,000,000 through your account
3. There isn't a $5000 preapproved credit card just waiting for you.
4. There is no pretty Russian girl just lusting after your body.
5. You have not the top prize in the 'Super Euro Draw' |

is the banking industry phishing website. if you get any dodgyemails simply forward it to them.
OK i know delete is quicker but they do look at all emails and they have an online database of spam emails.
