Meadows the pentlands maybe if dogs are allowed I think they are Arthur's seat portobello beach or go down the coast to yellow Craig's berwich and north berwich |

Vogrie COuntry Park just south of Dalkeith is great, Cramond as previously mentioned, Musselburgh - park at the harbour and you can walk right up to the Racecourse OR go down the other end around the old Ash Lagoons, which is a longer walk, Arthur's Seat has many trails you can follow just remember it is about 2 degrees colder at the top and you're exposed... And Car Park No.1 at Longniddry for t'other |
