The Gothic part is amazing as is the Cathedral. Good wee metal bar that does amazing (and cheap) burgers off the last street at the foot of las Ramblas, it’s called The Bollocks (no, really!).
Good vibe though and worth it for the food alone.
Hard rock is decent for food too. Up at the main square.

I don't know the name of it but we found a lovely little area kinda like a square with buildings around where the was a glass blowing factory was fascinating to watch |

Park Güell is well worth a visit for views, along with the Tibidabo. Check out the beach and if the weather is nice hire a paddle boat from Pukas surf shop along the front (you'll need ID to hire it but they've got lockers etc which are always safe. That area is also amazing for sea food restaurants due to the harbour being so near.
Grab a bottle of wine and go on one of the late night catamaran tours and see the city from a different angle
The city will never fail to amaze you if you are willing to go off the beaten track

Gothic quarter is amazing. There is also a really good museum in there that nobody knows about.

You can’t go to Barcelona without visiting their most famous street.
Las Ramblas is amazing, from live performances, human statue art, artists and vast amounts of places of interest and architecture then jump on a boat trip once you hit the port.  |

Magic fountains of mountjuic at placa espanya.... Well worthwhile going to see.
Bus tour is worthwhile doing aa well to see everything.
Sagrida familia, la Pedera is beautiful to.
Plus it's advisable to book your tours before you go to get a time slot. If you just turn up you have to queue and you are not guaranteed to get In straight away.
Either buy T10 card for the metro or we found it just as easy buying a two or three day travel card |

Defo do the bus tour as that's a hop on hop off so if you fancy seeing something more closely just get off and catch another bus after...go down the beach it's a good walk and stop off for lunch or dinner at 1 of the resteraunts and watch the world go by.

Thanks for all the info guys it made for a great trip. Sagrada Familia was outstanding, Park Güell also very nice, the fountains were lovely and Las Ramblas and the gothic quarter was nice but rather scary due to we seamed to be being targeted by a gang off mugger/pickpockets but we managed to get out of the back streets back onto the main drag where due to the amount of police they backed of and we could relax a bit more.
The tapas and paella we ate was second to none and the beer was nicely chilled all in all a lovely city |
