Hey peeps x
What’s your life mottos, mantras or rule of thumb you live by?
Here’s a few of mine 
It’s nice to be nice!
Act or Accept!
You are not your mistakes!
All walls have doors!
If you can do someone a good turn do it, if they shit on you shit on hem back from a greater height!
Only boring people get bored!
Be the one that lights a fire!
Your actions should always agree with each other!
Once you can do my dying for me, then you can tell me how I should be doing my living!
Should make for an interesting thread, expecting some profoundly deep ones to the erratic, dark and downright facetious haha

My two main ones are:
'What does not kill you makes you stronger'

Now this is a clever one, makes the reader think it’s directed at them but I personally believe you use this often, on the flip side of the coin however if it was aimed I’d retaliate with another motto as follows
Only the opinions of people that matter to me matter!

Spare nought...
It was my dads clan motto, he was into all that. Basically, to me, means live life and enjoy it now, don't wait for the rainy day. Use your beautiful things now, start your bucket list now. Find your happiness now. Both my parents passed relatively young so it is a good reminder. |

In certain circumstances this is true but in my line of work not opening your mouth can result in serious injury or death hence my saying and I genuinely use it on a regular basis during briefings.
