Now I know not everyone will be a fan, but I had the pleasure of being at Wembley in August 1981 for the Who's that Girl tour.
Back then to see Madonna perform Like a Virgin live on stage will live in my memory forever. Happy Birthday Madonna ..
Also August 1981, went to see U2 and the Pogues at Murrayfield,
it was the Joshua Tree tour.
Wow what a month that was back then 31 years ago, when both Madonna and U2 were the biggest acts on the planet.

I went to new York
Had a dream
Wanted to be a big star
Didn't know anybody
Wanted to dance
Wanted to sing
Wanted to be all those things
Wanted to make people happy
Wanted everybody to love me
Wanted to be a star
Worked really hard
And my dream came true
My childhood right there lol
Madison square gardens in 1985
Watched that every day after school for as long as I can remember. The table got moved every day pmsl
I've still got the video somewhere lol x |

You sure about that date OP? I’m pretty sure the Joshua tree tour was 1987 which was the year they released the album of the same name. |

Do you think she's past it? They were talking about her on breakfast tv this morning and the general consensus was that she should grow old gracefully and stop cavorting around in the pointy bras etc. Linda Lusardi was on too. She looks bloody brilliant and will be 60 next month. |

Always had a thing for Linda Lusardi. She and Selina Scott have always been my older lady fantasies. Selina is 67 but still looks amazing. |
