Ive seen on another thread quite a few think that having not attended a club you either cant talk about ir or that you have totally the wrong view of them.
which got me wondering what is this wrong view that club goers believe non club goers have. |

There are in my humble opinion 2 types of club goers..
The ones who go, enjoy and don't cause trouble or drama. They are in general supportive of others, don't suggest that there's only certain ways to enjoy the place.
Then there's the others. Usually cliques, there far too much, look down on others who have fun differently or perhaps turn them down. They create and add fuel to drama and actually ruin it for some people.
Sadly the second Group far outweigh the first whenever I have experienced clubs here (infact sometimes even socials)

Some people, same as on this site really, go to a club expecting guaranteed sex. In some sad cases get bitter and angry they won't get any and will jump at any occasion to slag off the club and the people who go there.
I think people who have never been, who read about all this, can get the wrong impression about those places. Which is a shame, because I've had some fantastic nights in them (with or without kinky fun) x |

Agreed
I don't go to clubs or never have and mostly I've heard good stories and how its so relaxing and comfortable n chilled.
personally I would never advice anyone not to go to a club, I've even said they should try it if they think its their thing because its a good social circle to get into.
That's my take on it from all my friends I chat to o fab and lots of other fabbsters
The Op stated the following post;
"Ive seen on another thread quite a few think that having not attended a club you either cant talk about ir or that you have totally the wrong view of them.
which got me wondering what is this wrong view that club goers believe non club goers have. "
I come into the category that a clubber might think I have the wrong idea, when I've praised clubs and the environment they set and I believe all this from all the chats I've had with others fabbers who go, some frequently. The only negative thing I have said is that clubs are not for me

I wouldn’t say that you can’t talk about them but can you say that you are in a position to make a judgement on them and present that as fact or incontrovertible. In such circumstances what you have is a personal opinion based on your own preconceptions and an absence of hard facts. |

Must admit the reason myself and my hubby stopped trying cjs was the fact it was the same folk going and none we would play with
Yes you say nothing is guaranteed but we would rather pay the money to book a nice hotel arrange a meet with whoever than pay money to stand in a kitchen drinking my own booze knowing within the 1st 10 mins of arriving there no one there I want to have sex with ?
Excluding my hubby of course lol
But hey each to their own
We joined this site for the sex!

"Maybe some think in some ways they’d be paying for sex . "
Some really do and will actually call them brothels. They're most likely the bitter ones who tried to snap their fingers and no one came running oddly enough. People who go are not paying for sex. They're paying for a good night out and £30 is not expensive for a night out, considering food and drink is in general included x |

Some people like clubs, some don’t but I would completely disagree that they are tantamount to being brothels as there is no exchange of cash in return for sexual services. Personally we wouldn’t go to either of the clubs in Scotland as on the single occasion we did as a couple (male of couple was fairly regular as a single male) we found the staff to be fantastic but the patrons to be quite cliquish and up their own arses with a few guys circling between the bar and the lounge area next to where the buffet was set up (CJ’s) in a quite predatory manner. Our decision is based upon having actually attended said club and not based on what we have read on forums or what other Fab members have told us. English clubs are the way for us |

I dont think club goers should be perceiving non club goers thinking at all ... is that not the point ... your OP suggests that the club goers are advising the non club goers not to perceive/ comment / advise on things they have no experience of? So surely for any of the people you refer to, to answer your OP would be hypocritical? |

How the heck can a club goer know what a non club goers thoughts are on clubs ????. Like said you can't make definite impression of a club scenario until you go. |

Maybe it was simmering as there were to separate groups. A group made up of new people and the clique group. And yes we have been and seen it with our own eyes. We last 45 minutes then left. Recent social in Dundee was amazing. No cliques and everyone chatting to everyone, that's a social bud. |

Nope, no cliques in regards to the last two socials I'm on about. Found out the reasoning why there was a little touch n go and certainly no way was there a divide between newbies and experienced etc.. they all mixed well

Cant and wont name a user/s.
it was/is on other posts that club goers feel non club goers have a"wrong perception" of what club use is about.
my question was what are these "wrong perceptions" as my perceptions are 100% correct.

I 100% agree with this have never understood why there is a difference in regards to single blokes. The costs should be the same regardless of what sex you are. Can I ask one question, IF the cost had always been the same for everyone from the outset would you have been inclined to try it out? X |

Is the difference in the proce for males a deliberate ploy to put them off attending as they are perceived as being the pests of the swinging world (not our viewpoint - just for the purposes of clarification) or is it exploitation as club owners reckon guys will pay that premium as some (note I said some not all) view it as a guaranteed means of “getting their hole”? |

This kinda thing has been in existence for 30 odd years that I can remember, the Savoy night club, Cardinal Follies, Victoria's charging guys, letting girls get in for free. Not constant though but it changed every so often but guys were often having to pay more.
not just those clubs, there was many more that did it

Supply and demand mate. Women is the supply and demand is the blokes.
I'm curious too though. If it was just the pricing , why not go with a female friend. Couple prices are set so you would not pay any more than any other couple. |

I asked a question on YOUR thread subject. Ie the couple pricing on swinger clubs being the same for every couple. What has that got to do with Glasgow city nightclubs. ?? But wait, IM the one starting an argument?? . Like your friend who started the other club thread, the dummy has been spat out because you have to make the post personal because you can't have a rational debate. If you refer back to your original question , you asked us club goers to tell YOU what we thought you were thinking about clubs . LMAO. But hey I'm highlighting MY stupidity. Two posts on clubs started by 2 guys that don't go to clubs and both closed their own threads because they didn't like the answers. Like i said , if you dont want all viewpoints , dont start a thread, as being the OP dosnt give you any extra privaledges than any other posters .Mods when this post is reported please take into account the post above where the OP clearly set out to insult me before issuing my ban |

And breathe !!!
And as said, I actually agree with the OPS point, that it's unfair to charge more to get into clubs, I always either go as a couple or take a friend with me. So we actually agree on his reasons for not attending SWINGER clubs. |

To re-itterate this post is not about pricing....nightclubs.... or socials it is about comments made by club users stating they believe non club users have the wrong perceptions about what clubs are I wanted to find out what these wrong perceptions are. |

I know I'm a non club goer but will put my view down on it;
Yes I expect club goers views on none club goers to be negative when they make a comment about clubs and actually I don't blame them. If I went to a club and enjoyed it and seen someone post that they didn't want to go and never sampled clubs then I'd say its great, come along before you comment.
Personally and factually stated in the past, for me I don't hate swinging clubs, never have, I don't judge swinging clubbers, never have. I have stated my rational reasons why I wont go as they are just not for me.
and yes I've been to house parties, social parties and sex parties I just wont go to club parties but truly understand and don't blame clubbers to look at my comments on clubs good or bad as negative.
Onwards and upwards to a good debate |

Club goers and non club goers are two different groups of people obviously. Everyone is entitled to choose what group they stand in and can opt out of either group when they choose but there should never be an us and them attitude towards one another. Both sides will defend their standpoint when negative views are expressed about the side they stand on. Peter you said to quote"

That is simply not true imo. If the view is of a negative nature whether from a club goer or non club goer then the people that know and have had great experiences in a club will obviously challenge that negative view. "
you can't say "that is simply not true" as you do not speak for everyone
My view and I'm not stating everyone else must view it the same is that theres more chance of it being negative, that's all.
Just put your view down on it and that fine.

But if the comment is just simply a reason why they don't go or whatever , those comments won't result in a backlash from others. |

"Ive seen on another thread quite a few think that having not attended a club you either cant talk about ir or that you have totally the wrong view of them.
which got me wondering what is this wrong view that club goers believe non club goers have."
Like everything else in life opinions vary from person to person. If you were to ask every member on Fab you would find son agree and others would disagree regardless if they have attended any club in past or not. |

Is this taking place before or after the purge "
Survivors of the Purge graduate to Fight Club.
