Yep we've been. Go to Santa Clara and Trinidad in the south of the island, Trinidad especially was beautiful. We went 15 years ago, double check what currency they have tourists using, it changes from time to time. |

A fair few times
Havana - has a magical quality.
It has it all.. last time we did a two centre beach and Havana, reasonably priced. Locals are pleasant, engaging even.
The Cocos are man made from jungle so if you go there the mossies are crazy lots of repellent .. beaches are out of this world..great climate we always go in September. |

Have been and agree with the above Havana is well worth a visit. Guided tour in old American car does not cost a great deal and well worth it as get personal information of all the sites.
Our only issue is hotels are not five start two at a push. Food not great and same with alcohol with a few exception.
But has to be expected. Make sure to get a fresh pineapple with Rum over looking the Bridge just outside Havana.
Glad we have been but probably would not return. |

Havana was lovely but tired looking. Have to say we ate in a few places and the food was pretty poor. Lovely beaches but short on entertainment and the Mossie’s wore tackety boots. Was bitten in places we never knew we had!.
Wouldn’t go back for the price. |

We went to Cayo Coco last year, couldn't get the flight to Havana due to the wee plane braking down.
Take loads of toiletries, bug spray, sun cream and stuff like that as it's very hard to find and when you do find it, it costs a fortune.
Cubans are lovely and the men are not shy at letting you know they like you lol
Foods not really the greatest but it's not the worst either.
You will have a great time just like we did |

If your touring any of the smaller villages to see cuban life pop into your local £ shop and pick up writing materials & sweets the kids will love getting them & so grateful too.
The locals are the most welcoming people ive ever came across |
