Depends on what you are looking for of course.
Madeira is lovely, hot but not too hot and lots of places to walk to or get to and an ideal island if you're into photography. And Porto Santo is lovely too |

"LOL. This is like someone asking for recommendations on what to have for dinner.
Classic Scottish forum. "
It’s a toss up between pasta with garlic olive oil, herbs and some fried bacon pieces or some fresh bread, ham, cheese and pickles......
Tell ya what, I’ll start a new thread |

Depends on what you enjoy doing. Me, Iw would take a cabin with log fire in the woods, climb some mountains, spend some evenings warming up...you may vary
"Bratislava looks like a lovely city to visit "
I enjoyed it, the touristy bit is quite small really. Lots of nice soviet-era stuff to see, a very modern city really. |

You’ve always got to make a snidey comment on every thread. It really does get quite tiring.
The OP has asked a fair question for advice who are you to ridicule it

This is response is the main reason we stopped posting in here, absolutely no need for it. Nobody forced you to read or reply, all we wanted was other people's reccomendations for decent holiday destinations as for the last 14 years all our holidays have been based around our children. Absolute clown
