Morning guys. I know that I really like the feature but do many of my fellow fabbers use it regularly?
Is it just me or does anyone else check it when they’re on public transport or in cafes etc?
You see so many people on buses/trains with their eyes glued to their phones, tapping away. I’ve often wondered if any of them were on Fab at the same time as myself. |

I’m just back from fuerteventura, and checked the who near thing when I arrived. There were 5 couples within a quarter of a mile!
Didn’t have any meets but have made a couple of new friends out of just saying hi and asking about best places to go eat, which was well worth the enquiry 
Postcode fibbing works for your base location, but who’s near uses your mobile GPS so postcode fibbers get caught out. If you don’t want fabbers knowing your exact location, just disable location services on your browser and your actual location disappears.
That’s on iPhone, have no idea how all you primitives with android phones sort that out  |

The whos near has a delay. I met some one in Glasgow one night and whilst going home on the late train i checked who is near and the mans name popped up as being within quarter of a mile. I freaked as thought he was on the train and following me home as he should have been over 10miles away by this time. |

Use it quite frequently, especially when I'm out and about. And on occasion when on holiday as well. I think it's a great feature. Got to know quite a few people that way, some resulting in meeting up x |

If you download a free VPN it should bypass the Content Filter should you ever need to use it with no Wifi available |

If you google this:
O2 adult content filter disable online
The first result should be for O2 Age restricted content and age verification Help & Support.
There's a link on that page that will let you verify you're an adult without talking to anyone. You will need to give it credit card details for the age check though. |

Like other's have implied, it's not accurate.
I've had "within quarter mile" and "touching distance" several times. where I'm almost in the middle of nowhere.
I think it's to do with the nearest tower your phone connects to.

I'm not on FabGuys, just here. To be honest I've not seen it since mid 2016, it used to show up loads whilst at my job at that time.
