Playing it with friends, especially after a few drinks: 10/10, would recommend.

Playing it on Christmas morning with your family: 0/10, would not recommend.

Yep. Don't often get the chance but it's one of the best games ever devised. After a few goes, you wind up playing it like whist, trying to take tricks.
