I hope this doesnt come accross the wrong way....
Still trying to build my wardrobe and find what works/doesnt work for me.
Wondered if any women were throwing out old clothes (size 8-12) that i could have to help build up my wardrobe? Better than just going in the bin.
Have tried looking on gumtree but seems to mainly be kids clothes.
Thanks

"Why not go round the charity shops to search for some bargains.x"
Definitely this...I've found a leather dress from Topshop (£10) and a pair of Kurt Geiger heels (£6) in recent weeks! |

If you want cheap but fashionable stuff, then keep your eyes on;
Forever 21
Boo Hoo
Missguided
Pretty Little Thing
ASOS
Sometimes their sales are incredible and you can pick up loads for a fraction of their original prices.

Best bet some the designer label stuff they have still have tags on them and in the wrappers, especially good if your looking for stuff for Halloween that your cut up etc and going to bin once you’ve got your use out them like shirts, bought one in a box with a tie for £5 bargain! Plus the money hopefully goes to good causes too! |

I usually like missguided and asos online.
Have bought a couple of things from there that have been a disaster though and were just a total waste.
Maybe just need a bit more courage to browse the shops in town for longer. Always just feel totally out of place and awkward when shopping. |

Miss kink and I are regular vintage and charity shop goers.
Affluent areas are where the best clothes are, but sometimes pricey to... charity shops have now caught up with the vintage vibe and charge a pretty penny for some items. But you can still find a bargain.
Morningside & Stockbridge, Edinburgh are were we find the best choices. There is a red cross bridal shop tooo (hinting to one particular TV girlie who likes her wedding outfits, nudge nudge)
Some of the central Edinburgh shops have things but the prices have crept up to match the vintage shops around them.
Happy shopping

Don't forget eBay. You can get some great bargains swooping in at the last gasp. My latest success is a pair of designer pony skin kitten heels (never been worn, soles immaculate) for £3. |

I have a massive excess of size 8 items in the house. They were my Mum’s and much of it barely worn if at all in some cases.
She moved to care but a lot of good sweaters and the likes |

Everything 5 pounds site could be a good call. Often it's high Street stuff. Their clothes can at times be hit or miss for me as I'm a bit bigger.( Will be easier at size 10/12 with more choice) However shoes, bags and accessories are great too. |

Wish is pretty hit or miss. I've heard good and bad stories about it.
Charity shops are not like you think, tons of great stuff to be found x |

Due to severe health problems (MS and a hernia in my throat), I have gone from a size 10-12, a few 8s, down to a size 4. I will be doing a big wardrobe clearout soon of both everyday wear and also some "fab dress" wear - np underwear, sorry!! lol
I also have a load of size 4/5 shoes, barely or not worn.. 4"/5" heels...

Your not gonna find ay undies or hold ups in charity shops but if you REALLY want to wear a dress you have no excuse with most charity shops selling them for 99p |
