I’m having that very thought the now, down in Biggar for Volksfling the now and the only bar I found to be showing the game isn’t that big  so do I chance it? Wait until later then drive to Glasgow to watch it? Or do I leave now and just drive down to Liverpool for it? Decisions decisions

Not really the same though, not even a 'champions' league, just a mini European league for countries that have a large TV audience. Buying into the hype just ensures an overpaid sportsman can earn more cash to buy his girlfriend more diamonds or gold plate his latest 4 x 4. |

TV money rules out Celtic and other clubs like Ajax, Porto, psv etc. It's all about countries with the biggest audience now, not really progres' at all. |

Just glad I’m not Scottish then but a side note on money being spent etc, Liverpool aren’t the kinda club who buy success we bring most players in on loan etc and then make huge profits on selling them. You’ll find most clubs who’ve been put out have spent stupid money trying to progress

In the grand scheme of things in the EPL that’s not a lot of money, plus we’ve sold more players to generate those funds purely from the sale of 1 or 2 players so I’d say that’s great value

In the grand scheme of things in the EPL that’s not a lot of money, plus we’ve sold more players to generate those funds purely from the sale of 1 or 2 players so I’d say that’s great value

I think your understanding of generating money is a little flawed.
Here are the real numbers for the last 7 years up to summer 2017;
Total: Ins £568.73m Outs £404.745m
Net spend on players in seven years - £163.985m
Average per year - £23.426m

Want Liverpool well and truly beaten. I'm not ever a Real fan but I'll be supporting them tonight.
Liverpool fans getting completely carried away reminds me why I disliked them so much during their successful era. So difficult to listen to and reek of a small club mentality these days.
But aside from that I believe that the best team in the competition should win it. Liverpool topped the easiest team in the group stages, then drew the might of Porto, beat a Man City team who pep has to take the blame for playing right into their hands and even then the decisions over 2 legs went for them and then drew the 3rd best team in Italy 20 odd points behind the seire A league winners.
So they've gotten to a final avoiding the big hitters such as PSG, Barca, Bayern and Juventus, 3 of which Real have knocked out and therefore if there's any justice should win tonight.
Oh and for the record, Mo Salah, completely overrated, he's had a Clive Allen season, you heard it here first!! When someone is completely anonymous against an establish left back of Ashley Youngs standing the media need to take a look at themselves. |

It's quite simple really. We have a much, much lower population than England, Germany, France and Spain, therefore, a massively lower potential viewing audience.
That's the reason.

I didn't get to see the game as I was at our clubs player of the year night but was back n forth to see snippets and saw Bales overheader and Bales second goal.
The thing that struck me and annoyed me was a tackle by Mane on Serio Rames, never touched him, but he jumped up holding his ankle in pain. Mane got booked for it but it clearly shows never touched him. UEFA if they had any balls should look at this and ban Sergio for at least 4 games.
