Last year I was off work for a few weeks and immobile (rumours that I feel climbing out a trucker's cabin are untrue, honest!). My son introduced me to The Last of Us and Fallout 4 and I lost 5 weeks of my life. I tried a couple of others - namely Alien Isolation and Arkham Knight.
I was nearly in tears when I finished The Last of Us, and I have been reliably informed that they are bringing out a second one. I will be booking time off my work for that one.
I got totally engrossed in Fallout 4. I helped all the factions, created little towns and trading routes. Although I do think I totally messed up the Covenant mission. When it got to the point that I had to choose sides I was devasted, because some factions became hostile. I had the "Lovers Embrace" perk for all but one companion.
Alien Isolation terrified me! Haha. I could not steer the Batmobile so had no chance of progressing on Arkham Knight.
Even as I type this my fingers are twitching and I am thinking I could restart Fallout 4 and do it all over again!

Xbox 1 myself but I don't tend to play multiplayer games bar f1 and forza , I am however a huge fan of rpgs (Dragons age, Skyrim, mass effect 1,2,3 KOTOR etc) the current fave (and for the last 3 years!) is the witcher 3; it's the one game if I had to play for the rest of my life I would.
Also a fan of the batman rocksteady universe games. I would say add me but like I said I'd only be chatting and not playing unless it's the driving games lol |

Someone years ago tried to get a gaming group up and running with fab members but it kindo fell away to nothing due to the pc/ps4/xbox1 spread. Would be good if we could get something like that set |

PS4 for me. Hooked on Fortnite and I like games like The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption and GTA.
Currently playing H1Z1 which is like fotnite but without the building and is also free.

You can get 5+ years out of a build if you spend a bit of cash on it nowadays, unless she’s one of these people like me who have to have the new GPU’s every time

Currently doing ok on BF4. Been gaming since 'Age of Empires', 'Baldur's Gate', 'Ghost Recon', 'Half-Life', 'CoD2', etc.
I'm definitely needing a new PC, though - and my broadband's crap. |

yeah cross platform play is decent pc can play with ps or Xbox but not Xbox and ps just add folk to your epic friend's |

For all you Fortniters out there.
You should download "H1Z1"
It's free and is the same as Fortnite but without the building walls and tower aspect of it. You can drive quads or cars as well.
I've been proper hooked and playing it all weekend. |

Im not a fan of cross platform play with really good reason one set always has a marked advantage which in turn drives the cheating industry which can only be to the detriment of the gaming industry.
(Right now a 14 yr old american boy is being prosecuted for tampering and manipulating fortnights code) |

The makers of fortnight should be giving that young man a job, not prosecuting him. If he’s clever enough to hack the game he should be given a job for game security to stop others hacking the game. Well done to him i say! |

Hardcore .........gamer got all the consoles but they kids are rarely off them to let me play lol. But am an RPG guy myself although I will play cod and battlefield from time to time |
