In counterpoint to Regrets,
What have you done, that the memory makes you feel good?
Recently I took the children to see my dad for his birthday. We all had a great time, and I'm glad I made the effort. |

Lots of stollen moments through the years.
Lots of proud moments as I've watched my boys grow up.
Many battles fought and won.
Many adventures and new beginnings.
While I've not had it easy and can be a bit lonely etc at times, I consider myself pretty lucky.

Too many to mention here but one which was particularly lovely was my west highland way trek with my daughter a few years ago - scenery was superb, lots of good food and fresh air and met many interesting people along the way |

Picking wilkes and muscles and Ayr beach at Butlin when I was 6 or 7
My mum gave me and my sister a Polly bag each. Spent hours picking them
We thought it was exciting and my mum cooked them and thought my mum wanted to try something different but it was the last day of our holiday and I actually think my mum and dad were just skint lol x |

Going to gigs with my brother. We used to travel all over to see bands, with some real hairy journeys, and stories we found funny.
He missed the last couple I went to while he was Ill, and it didn't feel the same. Now, it never will be again. |
