"I hate the curvy option on here. I’m in the unfortunate position of not being slim and perhaps not athletic enough but don’t want to be average as I’m certainly not that! "
Well whatever the category all your pics and smoking hot and I just went on a fabbing spree.

Curvy is kinda subjective.
It is possible for a woman to be fairly thin but have a naturally large cleavage and bottom while for others it tends to be see as a euphemism for being heavy. |

Curvy is a body shape (not a size) related to bust-waist-hip ratios regardless of weight.
They can be petite like; Scarlett Johansson and Laura Prepon, fuller figure like; Christina Hendricks, Marylin Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor (or most pin-up girls from the 1940s and 50s), and then larger ladies like; Queen Latifah, Kirstie Alley, Jill Scott, and even Oprah.
Sorry this next part is NOT going to be liked by everyone... Curvy has been hijacked by people with the figure more of Rebel Wilson and Gabourey Sidibe. These women are not curvy (or fabulous) they are obese.
I (M) realise this attitude is going to get me vilified by anyone who feels threatened or does not want to admit to themselves they are fat or obese; not curvy or fabulous. But it is what it is. |

I sorta agree
I put curvy as I'm not skinny slim or athletic not really got a clue what avarage is
Wouldn't say large so I'm sticking with curvy
Yup we have all seen the profile pics of men and women that are on the larger side and have avarage and curvy and yes we all do think to ourselves...really?
So unless you have actual pics on your profile who the hell knows who's What? |

This exactly!
I don't have a problem with fat girls, some are attractive, but let's not dress it up as something it's not. |

I used to describe myself as average but decided curvy suited me best too.

I’m fat. And I’m also pretty fabulous. I don’t feel threatened or unwilling to admit I’m fat or obese.
If I want to describe myself as fabulous that’s entirely up to me. I make it clear in my profile that I’m more Tess than Kate. And shock horror, men and women still want to have sex with me. |

"I think as long as the pics are recent and not photo shopped to fuck then people can call themselves whatever they like. Use your eyes."
Exactly! I don’t even use filters, let some photo shop. I don’t know to do any of that
I like the Pretty Fabulous option but the connotation is really big. |

Your pics are great! I think it’s mental when people photoshop on here, I’d die if someone backed off when they saw me in real life after I’d misled with edited pics. I agree that the categories are rubbish and it’s best just to go by pics, and hope they’re real/recent! |

I’m fat and perfectly aware I’m fat. But unfortunetly there wasn’t a option on here to select that. But I’m also perfectly happy as me and am honest about it. I don’t photo shop any pictures but I do tend to only use the ones I feel I look my best in x |

So are you saying that fat and curvy or fabulous are mutually exclusive things?
Because that doesn’t sound right to me. |

"Id rather be fat than straight up and dowm. 2 aspirin on an iron board type. There is no option for that either. No one has the right to judge anyone. "
And yet you just did judge very slim women with the 2 aspirin and iron board comment.
We all like different things and we all use language in a different way hence the many interpretations of the word "curvy". |

"No one has the right to judge anyone. "
As humans with working brains, it is impossible not to judge people. Your brain subconsciously does it whether you want it to or not. The fact that you have friends, and people you don’t like as much, and opinions; all of that is based on judging people. Sometimes it’s conscious, sometimes it’s not, sometimes it’s reasoned, sometimes it’s not, sometimes it’s accurate, sometimes it’s not. But to say nobody has the ‘right’ to is a bit daft. |
