Those pubs mentioned.

Bridge of Allan is quite good just out of town for a change of scenery.

There’s some nice bars for cocktails at Colessio & at Meraki

Then there are some of the bars mentioned earlier and Boozy Cow,

Morrisons is OK, wetherspoons on king Street is usually busy and cheap. No2 Baker Street across from wetherspoons is good as well.
