Anyone booked airbnb for a meet?? Thoughts?? I recently thought I had booked a house but turned out it was a room in a home for the night!! Fortunately I found out before the meet happened so could cancel, the person before me though was not so lucky!! |

We booked a Airbnb for a weekend with another couple and single female and it’s was lovely so we’d definitely consider it for a party the host indicated it would be fine as long as we left the apartment in the same condition we got it and there was no problems with the neighbors |

"I always go serviced apartment. Check out Premeir Suites, very reasonable and ideal locations over the UK. No need to worry about neighbours"
Is that only in Glasgow ? Took a look at it appears it’s George Square ? |

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow |
We have used Airbnb for a meet with another couple, lovely apartment in finnieston was perfect for some fun.
It is very obvious wether you are booking a room or an entire place and you can stipulate what you're looking for in the search. OP, you really need to pay more attention.

Sadly it was done through booking.com and they advertised it as the house not a room owner called me before I turned up, but the person who arrived expecting it to be an empty house got a big shock, and was very Angry |

They have them in lots of cities in the UK. I thought they had one in Edinburgh but it might have closed down. There are plenty of similar serviced appartments though.
I’m just a bit wary of AirBandB for party hosting and meets these days |

That is a strange one! Never seen Airbnb advertise on booking.com. You would definitely be best going direct to their website.
