Go to Glasgow or Edinburgh.

As for bars try bird and bear Whitehall street or head up Perth road for food as well as drinks

Bars id recommend in or near city centre wpuld be the Trades, the Phoenix, Clarks, MacDaniels. If you are looking for food lots of variety on Perth Road and Whitehall Street, Tahinis on Bank Street is a very good lebanese restaurant as well.

German doner kebab restaurant on reform st. The kebabs are amazing

Beer kitchen (innis and Gunn) on South Tay Street and Brew Dog both have interesting selections of beer.

For a kebab, then the Agacan on the Perth Road
