Right, it is H's 40th on the 19th of this month and I am looking for a nice hotel to take her away for the night.
Cannot be extortionate as I have been off work ill for past two years so money is tight, want it to be at least better than ibis budget and must have parking.
(Wanted to take her to cj's on her birthday but I have a prior engagement that cannot be changed)
Thanks in advance |

Why not try the Hilton Grosvenor at the top of Byres Road, they arrange parking at top of Waitrose next door, others in centre with parking are harder to find. Indigo on Bothwell st arranges parking with ncp. Otherwise try some of the hotels near secc (just make sure a date with no events on!) |

nonsense;
on the 19th of this month, the day the OP quoted, prices for the Village are £102
.
this is still expensive for the hotel as although it classes itself as a 4 star, it is in no way a 4 star hotel. |

"We tend not to do romantic! Just a break of scenery normally happens.
We aint hotel snobs, around £100 ish for the night."
I'd be wanting at least a bath big enough for 2 for that price |

"That would be nice as our bath doesnt even allow me in it alone, my old bath was 6ft long."
Getting just a scenery is achievable easily for less than £100 |

Friends have stayed at the Broomhall Castle hotel just outside Stirling.
Booking.com (other web bookers are available) are doing a double room with breakfast on the date you want for £80 |

village life, closest main town inverness |
Crowne Plaza, nice rooms and you get the use of pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi
It's right on the river, close to the Hydro and just walking around there at night is lovely when everything is lit up
If there's nothing on at the hydro you can often get a room for around £90. |

I'd say the go Glasgow urban hotel it's cheap and very nice inside! Far better rooms than the villiage However the villiage is nicer for food and drinks but costs a wee bit more |

Give itison a look next time, I managed to get 2 night stay at the loch side hotel in Ayrshire for about £110..
They always have really good deals on there for spa breaks etc.
Hope you get something sorted |

Double Tree Hilton in the city centre is really good, and pretty reasonable. £100-£150 usually depending on when you book. I’ve had the big fancy room for £125 in the past. Decent sized dining room and bar, and warm cookies when you arrive! |
