Possibly hosting a fun night late April early May and looking for fun people . Maybe 4 males and couples and ladies. Not too large as some may be new to scene. So just testing waters for potential response. Bring your own alcohol. Nibbles provided. Please dress smart casual . No denims or trainers. |

"Would denims and trainers detract from the fun night with the fun people?" Dress code is clearly more important than knowing how many people are going, who they are, where they’re going, and what they’ll be doing when they get there.

The fun people should all turn up wearing denims for a laugh just to prove how much fun they are |

If people don’t wish to adhere to the OPs dress code then they don’t have to attend. What is it with some people on here? By nit picking the OP and rubbishing his event does that make them feel like they have some sort of superiority over other users
Good luck in your search OP |

This would be new to me but would be happy to discuss ! Realise numbers will be limited so would not build my hopes up nor go into a strop if not selected ! Normal clothes are entirely manageable for me without any issues !!! |

So one or two wry comments constitutes nit-picking or rubbishing? No. Simmer down. I sorely doubt my comment would put anyone off of expressing an interest. |

It was the over use of the word fun I was having a laugh about. He's welcome to have any dress code he likes at his fun house party. |

See thats funny. For this little slice of wit to be labelled as nit picking or anything else by the organiser of any party tells me its probably NOT going to be fun as the host does not seem to have a sense of humour. Dress code was a bit ott in my opinion as people would go dressed how they felt comfortable. People that feel comfotable have FUN. People that have FUN means others are possibly joining that FUN. What this host wanted was people to do what he wanted as its his party, what else might he WANT at HIS party. |

Everyone to be there by 8, everyone to be having sex by 8.30, everyone to be having sex with him... well the females anyway. I imagine |

And you wonder why genuine people cant be bothered to host events.
Thank you to the genuine people who have messaged me directly and have expressed an interest.
To the rest of the sarcastic folks you know what you all can do. Just make sure the parachute is not working.
Goodbye all. |

You're comment wouldn't put me off expressing an interest in this event no. Knowing the OP is like 18 years older than his profile suggests... that put me off for sure |

I manage to be genuinely sarcastic
But I've no need for a parachute up here on my high horse |

I dread to think what’ll happen if somebody dares to make a joke at your party. Jeez.
.
It just made me smile that you didn’t include very much detail at all about the party, except the dress policy. An unusual detail. |

"Give the guy a break. At least he is trying and it’s a fucking dessert up here. I would have been up for giving this a go and supporting the event. "
To be fair last time he was arranging a party and got sarky comments on the forum, I stuck up for him as you have done. That was on my last profile. Turned out I shouldn't have bothered. But yeah the swingers of Aberdeen are grown-ups. They will find out for themselves I'm sure. |

Profiles don't give a suggestion of someone's age, they give a specific age. |

Well yes if you want to get pedantic about it. Either way, his profile is lying. And not just by a year or two. Let's just say closer to 60 than 40... Go big or go home eh? |

People lie on their profiles all the time. On the evidence of some public pictures, it would appear that lying about body type is quite common.

"Profiles don't give a suggestion of someone's age, they give a specific age."
If it’s a lie, then it ‘suggests’ something that is incorrect. It’s a fairly common way to use the word.
.
Other ways to use the word are to denote a small amount or hint of something, e.g. “There’s just a suggestion of herb in this cocktail sausage,” or the most basic use, of introducing a thought or idea, e.g. “I suggest you stop trying to be smart, because it never seems to work out for you.” |

This is true, many lie. I don't. And if I am putting enough trust in a person to attend their party, I would prefer that they weren't lying about their age by almost two decades. Because even by fab standards, that is a fair porkie. You will note also that the OP has seen my post, had posted since, has even managed to block me. But has not denied what I have said
