Rock Social Marie Curie Donation..:)

Hi there guys and gals.....
Just an update from the Rock social which was on the 24th March....
After everything we paid out for the evening, entertainment etc we had left over money, also the money raised on the night....from then we also have had a few donations so we have today donated £803.94 into Marie Curie Huntershill Glasgow facility...with the gift aid also it takes the total over £1000...
A photo will be uploaded onto our profile of the receipt for anyone who wishes to see also...
We would like to thank the people who helped us pull this night off, they all know who they are... also to CJ's also for the venue and there kind donation.
In amongst all the good or bad on here this is real money which will make a difference to people who so need it....and there aren't many in which haven't been touched by cancer....the amount has surprised us and we have been in awe with folks generosity, so thanks to everyone who came along and had a brilliant night.
You made the night, and it just shows what good can be done with just a social....

That's fantastic, you should be so proud of yourselves. Well done on making it an amazing night for everyone who went and even better that the money is going to such a worthwhile charity  x |

That's absolutely amazing guys and thanks for letting us know
Everyone partying obviously dug deep to donate and it was really nice of those
who gave up their own time to come along and help raise it on the night 
Great night, great cause and great organising lol

Wow! My friend is a Marie Curie nurse, I know the great lengths they go to so that their patients are looked after with enormous dignity.

Well done Jim and Jo for raising such a fantastic amount for such a worthwhile cause. It's a pity that all organisers of socials don't do it for charity.
Let's hope they see this and take note!
