Love to think tis post will be positive and see replies that we all know can make people feel better.

I have many things that inspire me.

Coaching Youth and Seeing them Flourish on the Football Park, Some already made the senior ranks. My Brother whose been confined to wheelchair for past 15 years but his outlook in life is always positive. My kids, never from my mind, just brighten my day, everyday.

.

Recently I came across something that, for me, is so uplifting n inspiring:

[.... Our deepest fears is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fears is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Playing small does not serve the world, there is nothing enlightened with shrinking so that other people feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same, as we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates other.......]

.

Above is a few samples making me want to carry on positively. So folks, what in life inspires you, even just to make your day feel great or week etc....

What/ who is the quote from?

"What/ who is the quote from?"

I first heard it from a song and it hit hard, (Allthesefeels Vol2 - "Lottare" on Soundcloud. Originally the quote is from Marianne Williamson.

.

My own thoughts of people who are close to me which I wrote today:

.

I will look for you in a place that only darkness ventures, your soul and your passion will be tested to its limit. You are me treasure, my hope, my fear. This life is your only one life, treat it indefinitely as you’re most prized possession, using negatives to become your strongest positive. Touching life’s as your path shows the way and take these steps to unlimitless passion bringing joy to others. Don't be scared to be inspirational, giving other's a purpose to move out from their own darkness and deal with their own beautiful life. Stifle no more, venture and create.

You have a life, make this the one that no one will ever forget.

Weirdly work inspires me. They say such good things about me that I want to be that person.

My daughter inspires me. I worry that she will hate me for leaving but I hope she'll understand one day.

Comes with being creative and comes out in everything I do.

I find your comment interesting as I would describe myself as an over inspired person lol

I think seeing the beauty in little things is important.

I do hope you find inspiration as it is an uplifting feeling, at least for me

Hope this makes sense

Yes it does, I’m doing really well job wise but it’s all just happened don’t see the reason sometimes. Maybe that’s why it’s happened because I’m pretty relaxed about stuff, don’t know the answers none of us do lol

So much inspires me, my children, like a lot have said are an everyday inspiration. Two fabulous human beings and what is even more fantastic is that they hold me in such high esteem... that is probably the most humbling of things. I also have a Grandaughter - when a child has such utter trust and love for you, that is truly a shining beautiful thing.

People with beautiful minds inspire me, human beings can be the most inspirational yet also the most destructive and cruel of creatures. When I see the amazing things human beings have done and created I am in awe. Wether it be poerty, music, art or acts of amazing courage and strength it is all hugely inspiring.

However sometimes it is the most simple acts that are truly inspiring - this quote from the Dalai Lama is something everyone can do every day.

"Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible. Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions."

Thank you, Peter for such a beautiful post CxXx

Without doubt my kids!

I’ve suffered depression for a number of years which resulted in the demise and eventual marriage breakdown due to an unsupportive wife who had been cheating on me!

My kids fill me with love and joy every single day! Since leaving the family home 4 years ago I speak to them both every day since and see them at least 3 times a week. Without them I don’t know what I’d do or be right know.

There's two things that drive me 99% of the time.

1. My kids, mainly setting an example of what I'd like to see them do.

I want them to see hard work paying off, I want them to remember dad being busy not lazy but I want them to remember dad making the time to do things with them.

2. My grand father.

He was 89 when he died, he died 3 days after I got accepted into the RAF.

He told me he'd been holding on to see me settled, that I had a good head on my shoulders and I should use it.

I didn't think much of the statement, but he just slipped away in his sleep a matter of days later.

Ever since when nobody else is about, and I feel like giving up on a task with exhaustion etc, or cut a corner to finish a job, I just think what would he say?

Then I push on to make him proud.

The memory of my mum - she had a massive brain heammorage aged 42 when I was 13 and she wasn't expected to survive

She had major physical disability well as brain damage

She doggedly fought on and eventually got back walking, had to learn to read and write again and despite short term memory issues that never left her she was always cheery and positive

She never gave up and never succumbed to feeling sorry for herself. Truly wonderful woman
