Yes someone on here said they knew me. That person hadnt even seen a face pic of me. Turns out i go into the shop he works in sometimes. We will both respect each others privacy so its no big deal to me. |

Yes and at first i freaked. I had seen his face pic and didnt recognise him. It was annoying me as everywhere i went i was looking out for him. In the end i asked him how he knew me and he told me where he worked. Problem solved so i can relax now. |

This happened to me. After a few messages and a pic swop he replied saying “I think I know you”. I’ll be honest, I about shit myself for a second until he said who he was.
It was a guy I knew 12 years ago, and had met through working with his ex. I fancied the arse of him but obviously couldn’t really say anything but we had socialised in the same circle, I’d been round his for tea, babysat for their wee one.....! Turns out he felt the same but obviously couldn’t say anything either.
Needless to say, different circumstances now and we very quickly made up for lost time! An absolutely unexpected bonus to Fab. Really pleased we reconnected, and have stayed in touch |

It can be bad.
I had someone on here say they knew me in real life, and insisted on using what they thought was my drab name in all the messages they sent me.
The real killer is that their profile stated that they expected ultimate discretion and secrecy, and would give others the same...
Well they were off to a good start when they messaged me.

We had a young man swear he knew us and where we frequent, we explained that it was not us but he insisted.
We are curious as to who this couple is but it was not us.
Just for the record:
We would admit it to someone and also if the speak to us....politely and discretely, we can verify them as real people.
Just Be careful its really us and not a astral projection....hee hee

I received a message asking if I wanted to join a couple for a small private party in their home and I was initially keen but when they indicated the location I realised the guy in question was a work colleague. He used his own first name on his profile and as he lived in a very rural location I realised who he was.
I didn't let on I knew him however. |

I’m single. So what I get up to is entirely up to me.
I’m not hurting anyone by being on here.
Saying that, a family member noticed me and so did a guy I’ve known since school days.

I had a lady in work say hope you have a fab weekend twice i said i will thanks then she said yes im going to have a fab weekend also looking forward to it...... i wondered hmmmmm is this someone who inows im on site or just likes the word fab x |

I’ve had it a few times. My manager from work, my pals boyfriend, my sons friend. I had a couple exchange messages, when I sent a face pic he said his wife and he knew me and blocked me. Still pisses me off not knowing who it was |

I wouldnt mind so much if they blocked me ... bt ive had people lord it over me that they know who i am and not say who they are ... even ask a mutual contact who is also on here to confirm it was me and repeatedly message me until i eventually blocked both of them ... i really hate the power balance people are trying to acheieve with that
If someone just gota bit freaked out because they would be recognised too and then blocked ao no further contact i wouldnt mind as much |
