When you have a hopeless memory for profile names

So this has happened on more than a few occasions and I’m blaming my age here (almost 40  ) and the medications I take have effects on short term memory.
But I find that I meet people at socials, Cjs etc then forget they’re fab profile name and feel bad when I say I’ll verify or message them, the next time I meet them I explain I’d forgotten there name and sometimes people will laugh other times you can see they feel offended or hurt that you didn’t remember. So for anyone I’ve never got back to please just message me lol
Does anyone else have this problem and would it look weird if I took a pen and notepad around to write names etc down?

I suffer from this same as you do don’t worry if you do note down names in a wee book at CJ’s just don’t wear a cap with reporters id stuck in the trim .  |

I have a very good memory when it comes to profile names. I can remember names of people who I had fun with back when I first joined the site four years ago with my then boyfriend. I think it's safe to say that my profile name is very easy to remember lol  x |

I used to have an almost photographic memory and remembered things in great detail but the last year or so I’ve been put on strong pain medication then it’s been added too so I feel like a smarties tube some days, these tablets affect my short term memory so it’s usually names I forget sometimes fab or real names it’s got to the point I have emojis next to people’s names on my phone contacts list to help jog my memory. I’m still good at remembering faces and music or random facts lol

It's not only name's I forget, sometimes it's faces as well, although in my defense I have really bad eyesight and don't intentionally ignore ppl,so if we've met and I don't say hello it's not personal I just haven't probably seen you just say hi when your passing me |

Not been to any fab social or cj's but was constantly out on the kink scene for years (then I started nightshift so not out much these days) but knew most peoples faces and then you end up adding them as friends so you get to know them by that name...but I always forget the real names and you feel awkward when you see them lol...everybody could remember my name as I use it in my fet name. |

I’m the same in the I’ve been musicmaid for many years in the fet scene as well as fab, tho I did use a different name when I was pro domme most people still knew me by musicmaid lol |

I'm surprised we've not met before...or have we lol. I know we've got a couple of mutual friends at least as I know you go to club t, which I used to do the door for back when it started in axm and when it moved to speakeasy-ive not been since it moved again. If you've ever been to a caberesque I'm the guy on the door for them. |
