Errrrr hard Quest When I was late teens with longish hair I was told on numerous occasions that I looked like Mick Jagger (still not sure if it's compliment) now bald so can't be called that now lol |

I would say that with losing a lot of weight my confidence has grown so people have said to me that I look great and it gives you such a boost too as they didn't know me when I was younger but I feel fantastic within myself and that's what's important  x |

When I was younger I was already in a relationship with my now ex partner from 16. So I guess there comes a point when you don’t really know and I spent more time making sure the kids were ok. I always wore make up to work and looked presentable.
It’s only really since being single for 13 years and being on here that you start feeling attractive again. It is about confidence and self esteem and it takes time to build that up. It’s good when people want to meet you and pay you a compliment. I’ve given compliments on here too to both men and women.

Oh God Def grown better looking with age, the way I lived in the nineties was shocking, seen recent fotos my God I looked terrible...transparent and so thin... Candle both ends back then  |

Well I’ve never had any issues attracting men, as I’ve gotten older I’ve become a lot more feminine and confident and less tomboyish and I have noticed a huge increase in attention both from men and women. I was told years ago by a friends aunt who I didn’t particularly get on with that as I was getting older I was by far the one becoming more attractive and the best looking of all her friends, I always thought my friends were gorgeous so I suppose as others have said feeling confident and attractive becomes appealing because after that night I do believe I carried myself differently, I stopped worrying about how I looked and started to love my body and embrace the things that I love about myself, buying sexy matching underwear even for daily wear was a big thing I love my body naked but buying clothes depresses me lol ?? but focusing on the positives and reminding yourself that everyone has completely different tastes and that no ones else’s opinions really matter is the key, I defo think most women as they get older get more attractive because younger women are so bitchy and nasty and let’s face it teenage boys say some horrible things and as you get older you care less, men on the other hand as teens have this bravado amongst friends and are well let’s face it full of shit and as most guys get older and their friend circles dwindle they seem to do the opposite from women and become less confident or dare I use the word cocky ! There’s very few men who I knew as teens are anywhere near as confident as they were and it amuses me when guys I grew up with didn’t look twice at me and now they want in my knickers lol |
