Now thats the question, we are still so far behind everyone else in the country, the massas would revolt and you could be faced with personal injury and mass...well demonstrations. A bit over over top but, you know what i mean. A more public event is probably scarey for many, and less turn up as the weeks pass. Unless you have any special talents, that might bring people in ? If you organise it for the middle of some woodland up the back of Inverness, more would probably turn up. Dont mean to be negative but thats north scotland, much is shameful to many. I love it up here, but attitudes tend to suck. |

I met a guy a couple of years ago who was involved in a regular thing in Inverness.
Last time I saw him there was a social evening planned around some bars in the centre.
Maybe it petered out.

The social went ahead in April 2009, and it was a laugh, around 40 folk turned up. We would go again if someone was to organise one.
Pm us if you require details of where it was held etc. |

I had a boyfriend - a different guy - who lived locally at the time and we thought about going. But I don't think we could get away that weekend.
I'm sure we'd come if we knew of something similar.
I'm just back from a weekend in Inverness with another guy. We went to Eden Court and the Glenalbyn. But we didn't get on really, which was a shame.

We'd drive up for a weekend in the Highlands - a social would be a treat and reason to do it!
As already mentioned would really need to be between spring and autumn as winter driving that distance not fun!

A social is possible, I've sent out a few messages to couples in Aberdeen and Inverness, but most dont seem to be genuine, will arrange fo a few selected couples to attend an evening in the next month to see how it goes, but dont want a mass of 40-50 need to keep it discreet. |

Really... no snow in the highlands in March
Mind that DM has her valantines social in February sometime... may be a tad close to that for some??
Dependant on dates though we would probably come, hopefully spend a whole weekend up there.
