I have just bought a ticket to go and see Iron Maiden at Newcastle in July.

I'm not really a fan of there newer stuff but they are going to be playing 80s stuff in this tour so I can't wait

Im going to see them in Aberdeen in August.

I like their recent stuff too but even on their last tour they did play a good mix of new & old

They have been a favourite band of mine since my early teens but they are about the only band I wanted to see that for one reason or another just never got round to, so It's going to be a special night for me.

They are still releasing new albums and playing sell out shows all over the world but it's time to retire because you didn't know they were still going-ok then

Yeah,I agree with that,although I'm not so keen on newer stuff it still has a huge following.

That is definitely the best of all recent albums with lots of influences from earlier albums on it.

Steve Harris has got to be one of the best ever bass players
