I was just wondering what everyone Singleton is doing for Valentine’s Day / night?
I don’t have a clue what I’ll be doing to be honest.
Do I go a run, do I hit the gym or do I look for a meet with fellow singletons?

This is the best day for it since pretty much everyone that is out by themselves is looking for someone to spent the day with."
Speed dating on valentines would be ideal.

I did that last year and it was on the 14th too lol. He whispered in my ear "Happy Valentine's Day". Such a turn on as he was in the middle of it too!! Strangely enough he got back in touch a couple of days ago lol  x |

For the first time ever i will be spending the day with someone. A cheeky day off, lots of cuddles, unadulterated kissing and stuff, a bath for two and then more stuff. I'm so looking forward to it for once.
However I bet I still don't get a card!! |

In my experience what most folk love about valentines day is telling others what gift, card etc they have received from their partner.
Its just a normal day and if you are in love then im sure you dont need to spend a fortune to prove it.

This is where i am the now. Quite happy being single to me its a choice I've made. It might change in the future but for now im happy being that way. X |

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, i think i'll go eat worms 
I have work and then a pt session ... first leg day since before xmas ... dreading it but at least something will get me all hot and bothered that day and my face will no doubt be the colour of everyone elses love hearts and roses haha |

I was going to mail you and say thanks, but unable to, so I will on here.
its been 4 years now, but still miss the good times, luckily, my daughters are at an adult age they understand, if it wasn't for them I think there are many times I would have gone off the rails
again appreciated.

That’s a rather insensitive thing to ask. Some may be widowed, gone through difficult break ups, divorced, partner may have walked out on them or they’ve walked out on their partner and some people prefer to stay single. Others may be looking for a relationship and just haven’t found the right person. Some may be looking after sick or elderly parents or have children and don’t want to complicate things by having a partner. Some people may have health issues or disabilities that make finding a partner difficult.
Personally my ex left me to bring up three children on my own. He remarried and the children had enough to deal with. I put my children first and didn’t feel the need to have a relationship.
It is just another day but for many it’s a time to celebrate their love and for others to remember those that they’ve loved. |

I guess I always put other things before relationships, thinking there would always be time "later..." Pubs with the boys, football with the boys, fishing with the boys - never realising that I was the only "ever present" at these group activities while the others all made time at some point for wives and families 
This Valentine's Day? It's Real Madrid v Paris Saint Germain on BT Sport - and a few beers of course to keep me company... |

Because I don't the whole exclusive relationship/marriage thing between the ages of 15 and 29 and now I'm reliving my teens.
I will grow up again soon! |
