Following on from our previous thread.
There has been a lot of interest in getting together for a social on Friday 2nd March, over 100 of you have said yes or maybe! So exciting!
Taking into account numbers and feedback we have hired a private function room for the night. We are now asking you to confirm if you are definitely attending. We already have a list, it's really just solid confirmation we're looking for.
Please post in this thread or pm us if you are coming.
The night will commence at 7.30pm. It will be a no play but still fun social with great people. Discretion is a must. We will also provide a small buffet and hold a raffle. As we have hired a venue we are kindly asking if you would be willing to donate £2 per person on the night to cover costs. If you can't contribute we understand and you will still be most welcome. Any additional money raised on the night will be donated to charity.
So far we have a great mix of couples, single females and single guys interested so it's looking like it will be a fabulous night.
The location is Dundee West End City Centre. Exact details will be sent to you the day before the event.

Enjoy your night guys! If it was arranged for the rose suite function in the Ferry, I'd have been serving you guys alcohol for the evening! :p
Glad to hear it is becoming a success with lots of interest. I'll possibly join on the next Dundee social dependant on how CJ's goes this weekend!  |

Hopefully it will be good! Haven't been to any sort of big socials or parties etc Going with a few couples and a few singles (Males and females) so should be good fun! Just need to push my confidence and boundaries a bit although I am confident in myself! It's a harsh confliction I have! Haha |

Haha, we know what you mean about pushing boundaries and confidence but the more you do it the easier it is. You don't get what you want without putting yourself out there! Trust me you'll have a brilliant time!

Numbers are looking good!!

We have taken that into consideration.
There's almost as many on the reserve list as the confirmed list so we should have a full venue!

We coming ,this will be our first social event too .Looking forward to meeting everyone even though both little nervous,dont really know many folk but that could change for us all .Thankfully Encandilado have got this all organised.Hopefully see few more events like this too come.. |

We're really looking forward to meeting you both and everyone else that's taking the plunge and attending!
Sure everyone is a bit nervous but rest assured a social is a great way to meet local fab members and all those attending are a really friendly bunch. We'll make sure everyone is happy and having fun on the night.

The update is for the people on the guest list. If you are on the reserve list and a space becomes available we will contact you then.

Nice to meet some of you tonight.shame about the snow was still a good turn out .we got back up the road be it a slow journey. still snowing out there.heres hoping no snow around for next one .will look forward to it. |

Well done to kat and george for all their hard work in organising a good wee night . I managed to chat to a few new people and won a bottle of wine so was well worth braving the conditions. |

What a great night, well hosted by Geo and Kat. Hostest with the mostest for sure! Definitely one of those nights you get out what you put in... i had great fun with like minded people and even got woman handled all in the fun of winning of course! I will get mam brownie points, returning with the star prize for sure. Great chatting with those that i did and apologies to those that i never. Bell x |

Had an awesome night, even if I didn't get there until after 8:30pm.
Thanks so much for organising K & G, venue choice was brilliant.
(My gluten free oatcakes & cheese with my fruit salad!!!)
Oh and can't remember who swapped me the gluten fuelled panattone from the raffle. Thank you very very much. Got a wee idea...... slice it, make it as bread and butter pudding.

Hi Everyone,
First of all thank you so much for coming along last night, you really are a fabulous crowd of great people and it was good meeting you all. Considering the weather the turn out was good. Hats off to everyone who got there and thanks to everyone for messaging that couldn't make it, we completely understand!
It was such a pleasure organising the social and awesome to hear you all enjoyed yourselves. We had a great time! And we all raised £90 in the raffle!
We would love to organise another one, perhaps not during the worst storm in 40 years
And just a wee update on the cake, somehow we have ended up with it again! Can't get rid of the damn thing, look out for it in the next raffle
