Inverness/Moray Social??

I've noticed that other areas around Scotland ( Dundee,Glasgow , Aberdeen all have socials,
Would it be feasible to organise one in Inverness or the Moray area??
I personally have met some pretty interesting people that I class as friends, obviously it would have to be genuine people and verified.
Is there any interest? |

I think this would be a great idea and hope the interest would make it feasible to hire out a big venue for say 100 people.
Keeping it quite is prob the hardest thing to do for any social arrangement  |

I don't want this to sound like we're being cheeky, but what was the ratio at this social? Plenty of couples and single ladies or just loads of single guys?
We would be interested in a social up here but we are always worried that it would be a bit of a sausage fest.
