Just a wee note. Its good to talk. Sometimes people around us everyday are going through alot of crap and they hide it so well. Please just look out for small signs....its all it takes to open it all up sometimes. Take care of those you know around you....and even the ones you dont. You might just be doing somebody a favour that you never knew you were doing

I work in a customer service area, and the amount of times I've been told to cheer up or 'smile, it might never happen' by complete strangers is unreal.
It's such a rude thing to say to someone. Firstly, there's nothing wrong with me, it's just my face. And secondly, for all they know the person could have depression or had a bereavement etc.
A couple of times I've called people on it and pointed out that it's rude. Really grinds my gears.

I live with chronic pain* and smiling when out and about isn't my norm. I've also had the "Smile..." thing said to me.(Mostly by older people). Sometimes it's easier to scowl or growl in response than to try to explain.
I do have a sense of humour, which I hope comes across in my posts, and I am quite a happy person, most of the time.
* No, I am not A chronic pain. |

"With regard to your opening post, I always try to be there for anyone who needs to talk to someone. My friends hopefully all know that I'm here to listen any time they need."
Always vital to have those around us that can help that way. Often people feel isolated and dont know who is there for them |
