Ok, so iv noticed anytime i display my verification summary i get hoards of abuse that im a slut ect, do men really think uv slept with 130 people?? And not realise theres fab socials, club events ect where you get many verifications from 1 social experience, its just pissing me off today |

I got hoards of abuse for showing just 13 verifications at one point and got called a slut etc. I ended up hiding them because of it. Then eventually I thought to myself, why am I doing this, letting these men get to me? So I decided to fek with them and I started showed my veri's again. No one has the right to say things like that to you and yes I'll have no hesitation in blocking anyone else who starts that nonsense again. Social or fun veri, I am proud of them x |

I never really know how to do the veri. Do you say "Don't forget to veri me when your next on." as you finish up the meet. Lol.
We have been to one social and never got a veri. Must not be like. But as they say. A wolf does not concern themselves with the thoughts of sheep. 
Lol that makes us sound like player but really we're a shy couple.

When G and I started meeting we did 3 veris in one week, plus I had another one from a friend. One charming gentleman took it upon himself to inform me that I was disgusting and would get a disease. After I stopped laughing I blocked him 
That a stranger goes out of their way to be nasty to someone they don't know says a lot about them, mainly that they're very sad. |

Mine are all Social on this profile but if you seen my profile a few year ago lol I needed a site to myself or at least a PA lol
At one extreme I’d get verifications that said ‘ this girl is what fab is all about’ and on the other extreme I’d get ‘ sorry you’ve been with too many people’ whaaat? I thought I was on a swinging site lolol your female so you will be slated no matter what you do so ignore and block them and have fun if you want xx |

I have a saying; let folk think I one hand and shit in another and see which fills the quickest.
All it is is folk who can't understand that you meet a lot of folk socially, hell if you go to 3 socials in a year the potential is there for you to get 30 to 40 verifies in one go

you will get someone make a comment in regards to someone who may have verified you and not liked by that person but the Op is, I believe, is on about just people commenting because of the amount of veries she has and then tons of people contacting her with their views.
I've had the same with comments and I only have about 25 and mostly socials

i have 76 meet veris, 20-25 could be classed as play meets, even if they were a night out and whatever happened, happened naturally the rest were all purely social....
I dont display my play veri's anyway as its no-ones business who ive played around with (and i had someone taking an unhealthy interest in who i was meeting)... got 8 cam veris as well 4 of them from the same person who pops up in half the sites Tgirls veri's  |

On the whole the folk who say someone else is a slut because of the number of folk they've shagged are jealous. As the saying goes, the true definition of 'promiscuous' is someone who's getting more than you are.
The other side of it is the folk who block our call others 'time wasters' if they don't have enough verifications.
If someone judges and, worse, insults you without knowing you it's just a good indication that you don't want to know them anyway. |

bottom line is its not the number of the veri's...
its the context of the veri's and often "who" the veri's from that makes my mind up..
lets chuck in a wee example... someone with 200 veri's in 5 yrs on site, equates to 40 a year, less than one a week. people in a relationship as a rule have sex more than that, so its hardly slaggish behaviour....
throw in the fact a good chunk of those 200 veri's will probably be from socials its even less so. |

Most of our veris have been from meeting ppl in Cjs with the odd play one listed, but we don’t go into what happens intimately as that’s private IMO.
I think as long as there is a reasonable mix of ppl verifying someone (so not the same person all the time) and a fairly recent timeline then I’ll have a look further at the profile.

OP , cate said it all earlier , abuse = block , dont acknowledge with any sort of reply. If everyone did the same after the slightest hint of abuse it would eventualy STOP . Thats what block button is for. I said before i think some women like the attention whether it be good or bad. It appears to me that as far as verifications go, you are damned if you do, damned if you don't. Some people think you are "easy" if you have a lot, and some people think you are fake if you don't have any. That's my reading of the forums since I joined.
Maybe the people pointing fingers at others need to think about how they come across, and work on that, instead of criticising people they don't really know.

You quoted 1 piece of my post. I spoke only about abuse then said if you dont like thier comment ie abuse then block them instantly. Your comment to that particular lady was not abuse and she gave you the benefit of doubt and now your friends . Job done. But i will stand by my full post if you have a niggling doubt about anyone and you KNOW a meet will NEVER happen through FAB then block them . |

I quoted the part I was referring to. Unlike some I don't like to fill a thread with repeated quotes and waffle that's not relevant to what I'm talking about. So please don't think, or imply, that I'm trying to take you out of context.
I was just trying to say that sometimes the instant response you espouse isn't necessarily the best choice at the same time as making it clear that I understand there are approaches made that definitely merit the response. However, had my friend followed the instant block method- because she was convinced that the comment was abusive- we'd never have gotten past it and become friends. |

Of course texts can be taken out of context, thats where messages have to be thought through . That said abuse is abuse and that cannot be taken out of context. For the record, if you said to She Devil " you look good enough to eat " she would not have entertained you to the point of not even looking at your profile. She would always politely reply along the lines "sry your not my type" . Then block. Although you meant it as a compliment it may not be read that way. Why not say looked at your pics and thought you looked really good. No mistaking intentended meanings then. Glad it worked for you on that occasion but my posting was originally targetted towards messages of abuse . |

Agreed if it gets too much then just hide
But yeah I'm sure the Op does and many others will do but really, we are all on a swinging site so why should anyone have to hide their verifications just incase they get abuse.
Me personally the only get out for someone getting abuse by another fabber contacting them is that it really tells you about that person and to me then its a straight forward block and report if abusive.
I have verifications and most are all socials and a few play ones are hidden.
I just hide most of the play ones because I want to, no big deal to be honest. |

Just don't have to display them that badly. Why someone would want to display bundreds of veri's anyway is beyond me x |

Yeah agreed in that point but my attitude has changed with experience, why worry about what others think, Do your own thing and enjoy yourself and make sure your company has a great time.
Suppose everyone's different and different views and idealism.
Not everyone on this site is here for the same thing.
Some for fun, some to make friends, some for socials and parties. Some are here to windup, be assholes and abusive, we've all came across them.
I don't ask for verifications but if I've met someone and they ask for a verification then I will gladly supply them with one.
If someone is mad enough to meet me and then let everyone else know they met me by verification then hell mend them, Ill make sure they have a night to remember.
