Life happens in afraid. It happens to most people at some point on here.

Did you chat on the phone before hand?

I know it happens, just the first time it’s hapened to me lol. She contacted me first, we exchanged messages and pics, no phone call.

Always speak to the person before hand so you know that it's a female and not a guy.

A world of my own

Life happens. I've had to cancel plans last minute before. It doesn't make me a time waster,a fake or a bloke.

I'd like to think I'm one of the most genuine guys on here and even I had to cancel a meet way back about 6 years ago.

My son ended up in hospital and I got a call from the ex. I texted my meet and said sorry. I can't remember how she took it but she musta thought there was summit dodgy. Its the only meet I remember cancelling and I really dot get upset if anyone does it too me but

I always do my checks first anyways in the hope there will be no problems but it can genuinely happen.

It happens Mate.

We all have a life out of here and sometimes shit happens.

Just be understanding and if it happens again cut all ties.

Sometimes there are genuine reasons but for me you can tell. If they’ve blocked you/not apologised then doubt they were genuine in the first place

Move on to the genuine peeps

Yeah ill give someone the benefit of the doubt if its a plausable excuse and their apologetic enough, you can usually tell...

If they do it again, then they dont get a 3rd chance. A no show or the ones who stop messaging and avoid logging in on the day just get blocked

It happened to me once before. It was a fake profile.

There are too many fake profiles with fake verifications popping up.

If they were genuine and their reason for no show was done for a real life issue then the chances of you being blocked are usually zilch.

Genuine people will apologise and try again time wasters will block you and move on

It happened to me that people cancelled last minutes once I have booked a nice hotel etc.

Once I have cancelled last minutes I genuinely twisted my ankle...

I know how disappointed you must feel and may be a bit upset.

Take it easy the next one should be the right one.

Xxx

"Just had a meet cancel on me at the last minute Just curious - does this happen a lot? "

It happens, we've all had to cancel at some point.

If they took the time to let you know they had to cancel then you received golden treatment, my friend.

We've had to cancel and been cancelled on. Just the way of it all. Different if they block or go awol. That would indicate more than life just getting in the way xxx

I have been cancelled on and cancelled.

It happens if they give a good reason and don't disappear off the face of the earth then I'll give them a benefit of the doubt.

Real life happens.

In my experience it happens 100% of the time. I think I just attract the timewasters. Lots of interest for a meet today then the excuses start coming but most just stop replying to emails.

I'm probably in a worse situation as t-girls are mostly fantasists.

I agree that there must be fake verifications on some profiles.

Not sure what these folk get out it though - I can't imagine having time to waste never mind wasting it to waste other folks time.

I'll give those who called off with excuses a second chance - the rest have blown it.
