Glasgowish

Sounds like fun but could be hard to get folk to join you due to distance and time off work required

I'm self employed so I can organise around others time off or weekends! And well I'm willing to travel! And yeah will take a fair bit of organising!

Doesn't necessarily have to be Skye, can be any of the Munro's!

I've always wanted to visit Islay and jura, love their whiskies!

Love being out on the hills. The world looks and feels a different place when on top of a Munro. Fair weather walker only though, so i am done until Spring time

"Ive still not climbed Ben Nevis but its on the bucket list."

It’s agreat climb, weather all important for Nevis though, wouldn’t want caught without the proper gear, weather can change quickly...,put it on the 2018 list

In 15 years done over 170 Munroes. One of the best feelings in the world. Just find a place and sit, look, relax n chill. Nothing, no cares, your just at peace with the world as your there.

Sometimes you just cannot describe the feeling, words just do it a injustice.

I go alone now, for the past 10 years as it was part of my business and both myself and my business partner would go o walks until he got injured and cannot go anymore

Yes gear is important. I remember some years ago climbing the Ben via a scrambling route from Glen Nevis. We topped out in thick cloud so it was compass and map to find the top then back to the tourist path (this was way before GPS). As we made it on to the path and started to descend we met a family coming up - we were still in thick cloud - what impressed me most was mum was wearing white stilettos

The snow can make it more fun - or purgatory....
