it is with great sadness that i am writing this as a very good friend of mine txt me the other day to tell me that some NASTY PIECE OF WORK ( for want of better words ) had posted a note thru his letter box for his family to find ...
they wrote that he was a member on fabswingers his profile name along with other details .
this has really pissed me off as he is a really nice an genuine lad who has always been there for friends as well as meeting up with newbies to put them at ease .
I think that this is becoming ridiculous when people on here are abusing the TRUST that we as a community put in each other on this site .
He has his dad in hospital an its worrying time for all the family and im so pissed at these COWARDS on here insisting on ruining peoples lives with their abuse and selfish needs to be met .
i hope in all honesty that one day those doing this will find themselves on the receiving end and it all goes tits up for them as what goes around comes around .
so due to this he has since removed his profile from the site and i for one wish him all the very best and hope those responsible for this will NEVER put anyone through this again .

Sioux my heartfelt good wishes go out to your friend, it would seem that many of us have been going through a similar thing, I had it when someone e-mailed my daughter a link to my profile. Another couple from here contacted me this week to say they too have deleted their profile and set up a mystery one, have got no pics and will only be in chat very occasionally for exactly the same reasons, a member found their profile and showed it
to their family.
What these sad individuals get from exposing so called friends and members of a really fab site and friendly community is beyond me... obviously it's petty jealousy and nothing more xxxxx |

i have to agree,
since we put a lot of trust in folk who read our profiles and hope they are here for the correct reasons and not just fishing for smut.
i have to ask?.

I think this is one reason why your personal details should be kept private.
Be wary of giving too much personal information out to anyone.
Have a sim card just for swinging.
Keep yourself as private as you can and hopefully you won't become the next victim of nasty and vindictive people.

unfortunatly there are a lot of sad ppl out there that seem to get there kicks out of causing others misery ,,,,personally i dont give a damn what ppl find out i get up too cos i assure it aint as bad as half the shit i done in my life lol but as honey has 2 teenage girls we have to be extremely carefull with what we do together !!!! i only hope once this poor guy has his family sorted he finds out who this sad arsehole is and takes them for a wee ride somewhere nice an dark an quiet an show them what misery can really be caused!!!!! |

sadly reading all of this it does not surprise me that some folk deem it neccessary to destroy other folk in this way, unfortunately there are alot of people on this site of both genders who cannot take any form of rejection (as they see it as a divine right to have sex with all and sundry as they are now members of fab) and seek retribution in one of these ways. All this serves to do is to make all of the people on here who are genuine even more wary of whom they meet.

it is because this is an ADULT and you expect everyone to act as one..
Siouxx's friend probably acted well, mannerable and chatted nicely to folks in the room/forum to get to know everyone. He probably made lots of friends and earned the respect of the regulars ... sadly alongside that popularity sits the jealously of a few.. ' why is he getting attention, getting meets, being spoken to more than me, etc etc etc ..
so then it no longer remains an adult site and becomes a primary school playground... bitching, sniping, whispering about people, bullying and more of the actions that come for the inexperienced in life..
it is unfortunate that folks can't chat face to face, on the telephone to resolve issues like what adults should do... but many can bitch about people behind their backs, yet when you meet them socially, they don't have the 'backbone' to discuss.... that is not the 'bravery' of the backbone but the 'cowardice' of the CYBERBONE..
you will never change these people, it is based on deep deep insecurities that they carry and only until the daythey deal with them, the 'learned' behaviour continues....
it is lack of education, lack of breeding, lack of selfesteem and/or just plain nastyness !!
and before anyone says owt... I look back at my actions and am proud of many over the years and ashamed of some......

May I add my tuppence worth here?
Naturally, I too am sad to here what has happened to this guy, particularly as I myself have recently been receiving anonymous calls from a lady's hubby, a lady who I never actually met.
Yes I know us marrieds aren't exactly flavour of the month around here, but that's not what this thread is about!
What, imho, this does highlight is the importance of security, with our phones, and our PCs.
I would also suggest that it maybe calls into question advice regularly given in these forums, to guys asking for advice on how to meet people, the advice being to use the chatrooms, attend socials etc etc! The problem with that is that the more people who know your business the more chance there is of you coming across some sick saddo, as in this case!
So maybe we should all remember the 3 "S"s; Be safe, be secure, and be as sure as you possibly can about anyone you meet!! |

Garry ur first opening statement is spot on hun i think the more popular u r around here certain ppl just dont like it and do spitefull things...
Im not to sure who this post is about but i to have a friend who has left this site recently due to what looks like the same and hes was such a gentleman very non pushy and always a gd word to say about many on here ...

At the risk of bringing the wrath of the forum down around my head, what about the 4th S? Be straight.
I've posted before about this being a competitive environment, how jealousies can arise and how some people can't cope with rejection. IMHO none of this justifies outing someone to their family, friends or w*rkmates but there's a bit of an inevitability about it and, if you do have something to hide it will almost certainly come back to bite you on the bum. |

I think it absolutely discusting what has happened in this instance but alas it seems to be happening more and more to peeps on this site, I for one am NOT in favour of a name and shame policy as this can lead to more and more open and personal attacks on people, can you just imagine saying no to a meet then next day your name is all over the forum as a timewaster etc not for me am afraid. the good thing about fab is it is free to all BUT, and there allways a but, it lets all the real timewasters and vindictive people join and they dont give 2 monkeys if they get banned or not. The answer ??? well is there one but and would just urge caution to all my friends and genuine swingers on the site and continue to enjoy the friendships we have built over the past cpl of years.

it is pathetic that such a good site is now going down hill with the thoughtlessness of those so called people and their petty jealousies ,
i posted this to let you all beware that they have now progressed to such lowlifes in my books and yes a coward. so i urge you all to be extra careful and vigilant in what you all do
to those that started sending email links to fabbers family and friends and have now progressed to actually havin the audacity to now post letters through their doors ,

just to add my small tuppence worth- back in early days of this site i saw a "room regular" lady a cpl of times- up until her husband decided to get my number off her phone and call me issuing all manner of threats - wasnt bothered about that pillock but woulda been nice if shed told me she was married!!
threatened to tell my family etc. but mosta them woulda pissed themselves laughing so he gave up in the end. |

Just wanted to offer my support to your friend. I am in the lucky position of having friends and family who I am comfortable enough with that they know I live my life slightly different to other people.
However I completely understand folks not wishing to divulge this information. Whoever the bastard that did this undoubtedly get hit with the karma stick.
I think that jealousy is a huge problem on this site. Too quickly does it turn nasty when you don't fancy someone or you have a slight disagreement.
Why can't people remember that sex should be fun??? It's not meant to be a serious and time-consuming! Lighten up folks...
