Landed lucky this year. 2 weeks holiday and back Monday. Another 12 yrs before it comes around again and back to my usual 2 days each week over festive period.  |

I was back to work today. Dreaded having to get up and every minute of the day but I got through it, just. There must be something better than that and I intend to find it elsewhere  x |

Mr has had 3 days off a week instead of 2.
I however am not back to work until Monday having had all last week and this week off.
I've not had time off like this since my last Christmas at school 24 yrs ago. Before kids came along I worked over both, then after kids negotiated to get 24/25/26th off but would work anything else.
I've enjoyed it, but need some routine back in my life

I certainly have some sympathy for you. I usually work through Christmas but this year after being made a senior manager I get time off. It's been great  |
