Glasgowish

Get yourself a four legged friend to run with. Dogs give u a reason to get out in all weathers.

I would love a dog but would be unkind as i work long hours and cant leave a dog inside alone, wouldnt be fair

Check out the Harriers. They regularly do beginners things as well as running for the more experienced.

That's assuming you haven't already looked x

Fair enough.

Earphones and music are all you need then.

And there are plenty of places around to go x

I agree you do not need partner ... but I have had same running partner for over a year and I can tell you we have never exocrine such great running and the ace es we have set early morning and in evenings while out running have been totally "breathtaking"...

Edinburgh

Any park run events near you?? They are usually well attended.

Personally, I like running alone.

My tunes, the road and my own thoughts... actually no thoughts... peace... love it

Good luck with your running OP.

Enjoy

.

For me this is perfect. I know my own body and how fit I am and can bring my intensity up in seconds when I want to push in some hard work.

I have a few great routs to choose from, some hard and I usually choose the hardest. Love pushing myself beyond limits.

Nothing wrong with partner running and I endorse it but doing my own running, nothing compares.

No chatting and my own pace
